Thank you and I did. My bariatric surgeon and his fellow surgeons have an annual bariatric reunion in San Deigo each year and it is so much fun. Any bariatric patient can attend whether they had any of the Pacific Bariatric surgeons or not. It is an event for people to meet others and learn from each other. It starts out on Friday night with a talent show. The talent show is far from being organized as it is for the attendees to do what they want whether it is to sing, dance, do a skit, play an instrument and so on. Saturday morning starts with a walk with one of the surgeons and that is usually Dr. Zorn. He is great. After the walk there are discussions, meeting groups, education classes, and etc. until 1:00. At 5:00, there was a pool side reception with sugar free punch and great food choices allowed for bariatric patients. 6:00 p.m. is dinner, fashion show, and dancing.
Well, now that I wrote a book, I guess I better get back to work!

Do you go to the So Cal Coffee on the last Saturday of the month? This is held in Long Beach. I have two groups.

1st Wednesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. outside the Starbucks/Barnes and Noble at Bella Terra Center in Huntington Beach

2nd Saturday of the month at 10:00 a.m. at Emeritus Garden Manor (Sr. Residence/Assisted LIving). We use the courtyard as there is a water fountain, trees and plenty of seating.
